With the Numark NuVJ, the VJ can trigger images and video clips, add effects to them, mix them through an onboard DJ style crossfader and tweak them in order to create unique and spectacular shows. Arkaos v1.50 software for NuVJ adds a new, multi-threaded engine along with a new internal codec for optimal decompression of several video formats including QuickTime Photo-JPEG, DV, MPEG. With this new update users can now deinterlace video clips with a right click option. New loop editing functionality, enables users to edit the loop length of their clips and movies on the fly. A new Flash player has been added with audio-reactive Flash animation support and input gain control, which is useful for generators, audio-reactive flash and BPM detection. Input gain controls make beat synchronization easier than ever.
